The facade is made up of multiple clear laminated glass lites with spider type point attachment. Nonlinear geometric and staged construction analyses are performed to predict behavior of the system. Two level shopping mall with parking garage that are broken into three separate structures due to its massive footprint. The project site is crisscrossed by active seismic fault line and experiences settlement due to aquifer drawdown. Nonlinear pushover analyses are performed to ensure acceptable building performance for earthquake magnitude larger than M7. The foundation elements were tied together to provide redundancy and minimize the impact of differential settlement. Cast in place concrete system and roof steel framing.
